Donec Capiam Studio in Milan gives room to the fresh and stylish English youth with the portrait series “East London Boys”, on show through December 19.
Photographed by Jacopo J. Moschin, this new generation of London’s male sensations consists of elegant and ephemeral boys, connected to the fashion and art worlds, and avid habitués of the city’s nightlife.
Their fit pale looks are dictated by names like Gareth Pugh and Hedi Slimane. Their dance floors are Trailer Trash and the Beach Blanket Babylon. And their habitat usually includes rooftops in Bricklane, Hackney and Shoreditch.
Moschin’s images were curated by Paolo Pocchini. “East London Boys” is the photographer’s first solo exhibition.
