The British Fashion Council, responsible for the British Fashion Awards and fashion week, has released its list of the 25 most powerful people in Britain’s industry.

Designers Chistopher Bailey and Hussein Chalayan
The list embraces both big traditional names, like Vivienne Westwood, Alexander McQueen and Paul Smith, and rather new local high fashionistas, i.e. Burberry’s Christopher Bailey and Hussein Chalayan, as well as less public figures like Mandi Lennard and BFC executives.

Kate Moss and Naomi Campbell
Some of Britain’s favorites, like Gareth Pugh, Stella McCartney and Christopher Kane have been left aside, along fashion editors. The press was represented solely by photographers Nick Knight and David Bailey.
